My mum just dropped off a box of old Lego, what’s the best way to clean 25 years of dust off it?

Just use soap and water. You can also do this for the discoloured parts, e.g. the white ones in your pictures:

You can put them in a cloth bag that zips up and put them in the washing machine. After that they are kosher for passover.

I quite like it.
I've always thought lego F1 cars always look a bit strange but I do have one of these in my parents loft somewhere

Nice haul of Lego there. I've been using https://www.toysperiod.com to check all parts are correct and present when rebuilding some of my childhood Lego. Not quite so prevalent on the sets below, moreso on technic sets, where several models can be made.
I also spotted the familiar plane, possibly 6368?

Have voted... Mainly as it is the only chance I have of owning an Eames...

Also added my vote, although clearly reminds me of the time I turned down the chance of a chair & stool at JL for £1600 in their clearance sale.

Would anyone be interested in this Harry Potter Hedwig set?
It has a handle on the side which makes the wings flap, which is pretty cool, they pivot in three places per wing.
It’s all complete with instructions (but no box)
£20 posted.
My son is trying to clear out some sets to save up for a big dumper truck Lego technic set.
