Also think that makes them £250ish - they might be fine, could stretch them etc just whether you fancy the risk

I'm typically UK9.5/EU44, these are a UK9.
From here which has a pretty decent discount on a number of models, made better by a 10% additional discount for new customers (WELCOME10 for those interested). I phoned to check stock and was told they were no longer stocking these models hence the healthy discount.
I'll phone some cobblers tomorrow for advice before admitting defeat.

I think I know you are right but man I have been after these shoes (woodstock) in this colour (black) for ages and a 50%+ discount was just too tempting. Drat!
