Thought I'd jinxed it by saying how well first feeding went. he was acting hungry and i had defrosted a spare pack for overlap so i put out some more just now. only thing was I'd grabbed a different flavour by mistake...
little fucker, took a sniff and walked away. tried again with a pinch of parmesan just to get him to lick it instead of smelling. he licked the parmesan off and then in the most unintentionally hilarious way he walked away a few steps, stopped, looked back at the dish, walked back, took a lick, then walked away, stopped, looked back etc etc no less than about 8 times, then my gf and I had our backs turned for maybe 2 seconds and all of a sudden the dish was empty again. either he's figured out how to hide it behind the washing machine or we're maybe getting somewhere.
