Really don't get what Raith are doing here. They're 4th in a 10-team league where all the teams above have games in hand. They've made a decision on one guy, a 32-yr old unrepentant rapist, that's cost them their sponsors, their women's team, many of their fans, some of their directors, their ball boys ffs and the goodwill of just about everybody in football. How is this likely to benefit them, short term or long?

Clearly had his ear turned by Barcelona earlier in the year to act up and get his contract cancelled.
That or he's a bit of a dick and Arteta is following through on what he said when he took ont he job. Ozil was sent packing, Auba too.
Lined up nicely for getting fucked over by the new COVID regs too!

Sat in the pub last night with my pal who’s a big baggies fan and had the joy of watching him be told that cabbage face could be heading to the Hawthorns. Incredible.

Edited - trolling aside, Bruce might be unfashionable but he is a decent manager

The ever-brilliant Mark O’Brien once described Steve Bruce as ‘looking increasingly like a Beryl Cook painting’, which stuck me as very well observed.

I’ll continue going to the games and supporting the club.
More than can be said of 90% of the people on here…

Reported for trolling.
He didn't do too well last time he managed a Midlands giant in the Champo though.

I think it’s a bizarre appointment given he is known for a boring defensive style of football and predominantly being a crisis manager. Albion are on a bad run, granted, but they are still sat in and around the play off spots with a decent squad.
I’m sure he will bolster the defence and they will become harder to beat but it usually goes hand in hand with a stifling lack of creativity going forward and few goals. That’s certainly what happened at the Villa after he ‘steadied the ship’. He essentially solidified them as mid table championship fodder but with a squad that should have been in the top 3/4. It was an incredible achievement.

Has anyone checked in with Pisti now Fat Frank is at Everton or is he 100% committed to Enfield nowadays?
Isn’t it more like £15 million?
Not that it still wasn't the best way out of the situation. What’s your thoughts on the whole Aubameyang saga this year @Backstop?
