Has been a bit noisy for a little while. I'll take that as a warning next time
-

For future reference, the 'Bando' 150S5M930 belt does fit the Saris/CycleOps H2

If so how did you fix it? -

No, but I've lubed a Computrainer tension bolt before when it was a bit grippy.

Hi all - any suggestions on a cheap trainer? My knee is knackered and need to build it up gently before hitting the road again. Compatible with a single speed. Any advice welcomed.
Cheers and beers Marc -

Any cheap trainer should work. If you have bolt on axle nuts then you can get little adapter nuts for use in trainers.

TrainerRoad training plans. What should I be doing - I want something that is going to be generally 4 sessions a week,3 approx one hour and one 90 minutes.
All I am doing on a real bike is going mountain biking once a week (or twice if lucky)

fuck it, went back to the mid volume enthusiast plan

90 mins is a long time on the turbo unless you’re training for endurance events.
I’ve always found I can get the training I need on the turbo in 45 mins.
Without knowing what you’re training for, it’s hard to make any suggestions but for general training benefit, I’m not sure you can beat over-unders or ramp efforts like Cartwright.

Apart from once a week mtb ride turbo is my main source of cardio work (apart from log splitting). And I like to eat, hence the one extended but low intensity workout each week. It appears the specialist “enthusiast” training plan is the one that best fits my needs.
I can’t get the plan creator to make me what I want.

Is anyone using a different saddle on the turbo that on the road? I'm finding what works on the road to be killing me when on the turbo for anything more than 30 minutes. If you do use a different saddle, what do you look out for?
-
• #4268
get out of saddle more
-
• #4269
And if you’re not already, use a chamois cream.
-
• #4270
I would argue turbo merely amplifies saddle problems, rather than creating them. If a saddle works on the turbo, it would most definitely work on the road too, but not vice versa

rly? i thought they were snake oil ..

Really. Helps enormously when partaking of stationary cycling.

Any thoughts on Neo2 vs Neo2T vs Kickr5?
