Mudguards

Maybe a trivial question, but should I go for silver or black mudguards for this? The paint is black with gold flecks. Having a difficult time deciding.

Also, does anyone have Pelago's 45mm guards? Are they likely to fit over the 38mm GKs here?

Silver. GK Slicks fit okay with 45 mm Pelago, EXT or SK not anymore. I would still recommend either 50 mm Berthouds or the new 55mm version of Pelago for that extra clearance and coverage.

Thanks! It's the slicks that I have. It sounds like you have some experience with this - have you got any pictures of the GKs with the 45mm Pelago guards? I'd go for 50mm Berthouds but they're just a bit more than I was planning to spend.
