• I don't think it's as good as Spotify's but it's also not bad at all. It has got SIGNIFICANTLY better than when I first used it a few years ago. I hated it so much, but its totally fine now IMO and is actually quite similar to Spotify.

As a test for you, I played 'The Best of Parliament: Give Up The Funk' and skipped to the end of the last track on the album. It then generated this 'Mix' by itself and carried on playing based on what I was listening to, which seems appropriate.

The pre-made 'mixes' are just as good as Spotify's for me as well. The more I am using it, the more it's getting to know my taste in music and the better the suggestions are in my experience. Given the very low entry point for 90 days of a quid, I think it's worth trying again if you haven't used it in a long time.

Also added some bonus screenshots so you can see what the UI is like now.

  • Ta for the response - yeah maybe I am expecting too much hoping Tidal will be as good as Spotify for this anyway, since Spotify has all my listening history to pick tracks from - might give Tidal another shot
