Wout Weghorst should be a canny signing for Burnley, always liked him at Wolfsburg.

I've heard Wayne Rooney has locked all the windows at the training ground to stop anyone doing a Tyrone Mears.

Frank Lampard's Everton

So, Frank the Tory it is. Weird appointment imho, is he any good? Maybe. Can he stop us shipping cheap goals? Probably not. Will some youth get a chance? Hopefully. One thing’s for sure, he’s not Rafa Benitez.
Odd how made up some of our fans are with this. Just seems like another “year if he’s lucky” appointment.
Prove me wrong, Frank. Prove me wrong.

still can't get over rafa benitez, everton manager.
the rangers II are chasing aaron ramsey apparently. how is he on £400k pw

I'm not sure Frank the Tory is what Everton need right now, but then I struggle to see any manager who could thrive in the toxic mess that currently inhabits the club. If he keeps you up he's done a good job.

Fat Frank the Tory will enjoy all the chippies up there, especially any that serve gravy on the chips.

Perhaps he could go to Everton after Fat Frank the Tory
-
• #160212
Fat Frank the Tory is on to a winner there. Two and a half year contract; unlikely to last a year so he gets a nice pay off and an 18 month sabbatical

Agreed.

Do even Chelsea fans hate Frank then?

Jody Morris is the tactician. If he is on board then you'll be alright.
Frank will get more out of the younger players who will see him as the player they idolised growing up. The older heads might be harder for him to get on board.
He'll say the right things and his media mates will lavish him with praise when he winds and protect him from criticism when he loses. I don't expect him to turn things around dramatically, but the ship will be steadied for a little while.

No hate from me. As a player he was brilliant at what he did. He did well at 1st as a manager but lost his way somewhat. Frank the tory boy it doesn't sit well with me but that is down to personal politics.

Jody Morris is the tactician
Yeah, I'd read this. Nothing about him joining yet.

Eriksen to Brentford and really just playing football again is a feel good moment I can get behind.
Are Man Utd really not going to bring in anyone?

I very much enjoyed this little spin on Lampard’s unveiling video https://twitter.com/richiemccormack/status/1488150293158277124?s=24
Things will get nasty for Frank very quickly if he doesn’t turn things round. Reckon Alli could be a great signing. How is he only still 25?!

Spurs loaning out Ndombele, Gil and Lo Celso is a pretty damning indictment of their recent transfer dealings. Bale windfall mk2.
In the championship it's definitely signing players you definitely can't afford in the hope of them possibly being good and probably not firing you to promotion.
