  • Been having mucho fun riding this, and even doing a frozen Jan campout on it.

I think I want to ruin it. Its very nearly perfect for chilled rural pootles, but... It'd be even better if it would clear more than a 35c tyre.

So I'm thinking of finding a frame builder to cut off and move the brake mounts, and fabricate a new chainstay yoke/junction for more clearance, so that I can run a tubeless 650b rim brake set up.

I'm aware this will obviously ruin the paint but also might look rad - splatter / raw steel and brass mix.

    Is this a bad idea?

Edit: spelled yoke the eggy way
