This chat reminds me of a trip I was on a few years ago with a friend who has insurance, but not for skiing off piste.
He had to be carried about half of a mile with a broken ankle and laid on the piste so he didn’t have to foot the bill for a heli rescue.
A bit like when the RAC had to collect my car, which had blown up it's engine right at the entry to Donington Park.
Ha ha. I bet they’ve had to do that once or twice.
