Just took a phonecall from our neighbour. A couple who lived in the area two years ago just remembered Waily and drove all the way from Feltham to take him to Battersea! Thankfully she stopped them.
Bit of background, Waily's original owner died just before we moved in six years ago and had no family so Waily got left behind. Our neighbour started looking after him and then he made friends with other neighbours and now there's about 6 of us who look after him, us being the main one he comes to. Time to get him chipped I think!
That's kind of mad. Waily is clearly being looked after, why would they 'rescue' him without checking with anyone - what did they think he'd been doing for the last 2 years?!
