that's exactly what I did. Literally 2 mins has reduced the burrs to probably <.5mm so i'll wind it up tight and hope I don't have to do it again for a while.

Clean it up with a file and whack it back together. It’ll happen again but then a new freehub body in the same material would just do it again too.
