Selling a well used but still very usable frame which is stupid light and very stiff. I'm sad to see it go.
So why am I selling?
I recently realised that at some point, like an oaf, I've over tightened the stem bolts, gouging the steerer and causing a bit of distortion to the steerer tube.
This bothers me to the extent that I don't want to ride it as is, yet nor do I have the time to try and source a replacement fork as these ones use a proprietary taper which is not at all common — 1.5 to 1.25"
I've since bought something else to ride and am selling this in the hope that someone has some forks they can throw on, has a similar era Canyon in a different size and wants to try smaller/larger etc etc.
It's had plenty of use which shows in places. Theres some Oxidation in places, and a small ding in the ds chainstay caused by a derailleur hanger snapping, sending the derailleur round the rear wheel. Some chain drop scratches, you get the picture.
I acetoned some of the logos/graphics off years ago and generally the matte anodising is looking a little tired.
Forks will be included in the sale if desired but you ride at your own risk. Comes with a usable SRAM gxp bb, but the headset bearings aren't great. I think I have some spare derailleur hangers somewhere and possibly a stem or two I will also throw in.
