How u do this?
Log in -> Tax return options -> select the right year -> Amend return -> Add/delete a section and/or amend a figure
(The rest is from memory as I don't want to mess with my newly submitted return)
Then go to the Employment section and there's a question about "extra allowances" that you need to select yes, and on the second page of the allowances stuff there's a box for "other allowances" where I stuck the £312 figure in (it's relief on £6 a week during 2020/21).
On the PDF of my submitted return the 312 figure is in the box marked "20. Other expenses and capital allowances" in the "Employment expenses" section. There's definitely a help link in the section that specifically mentions the WFH tax relief.
Then go through the normal view -> check -> submit.
Just remembered about the "working from home" tax relief on £6/week and was able to amend my 2020/21 return. I had already submitted it and paid my bill based without the tax relief but it should now mean £124.80 coming back to me (directly or via a tax code change).
Will also try and remember to claim it for 2021/22 although I'll only get to claim for ~5 months of the year.
Also I saw some headlines about Sunak withdrawing the relief in future years but haven't had a chance to read about it all.
