I shouldn't like that...
But I do. Helps that it doesn't have GRX or a dropper.

Knees out. Elbows straight. Full beam straight front. Hi vis waterproof all year round. Never do a gesture onto oncoming cyclists and aggressively stick to your lane in the canal.

Rough Stuff
Ideally they should have a primus stove clamped to the top tube, a Brooks saddle, and a Carradice saddle bag.

Mate is looking to buy first proper bike, and taking the advice of the forum: "just buy an Arkose".
He's 188cm, torn between L and XL. Pinnacle sizing suggests CL, but he's not very flexible, and Im thinking he's better off on a shorter bike. Its easy to get a longer stem down the road.
Anyone here riding an Arkose around his height?
Edit: Also some proper shitfromabutt in Epping today, questionable choices had been made (35 slicks, SPD-SL) as we were supposed to stay on the hard packed roads.... we didnt.

I'm 193cm and the XL fit me like a glove when I tried it, so I'd say L

I'm 186 and have rode both a medium and large... Medium is fine for a racier fit but a large would be better a fit. A large is a good shout.

I'm exactly that height, no flexibility problems and I had an XL. Big bikes are better off road, if it's only for road maybe a smaller size, but only if he can deal with the bigger drop.
For the sake of humanity, I'll never make the mistake of being bored again
