It's all redolent of the committee inquiry into the handling of the Salmon affair, and the parallel Hamilton report. The Police investigation into leaks around the committee and SG seems to have come to nothing.
Sturgeon didn't resign despite the committee stating that she had misled the assembly. Hamilton expressed concern about the level of redaction in the public copy of his report.
At least Boris can't hide behind the identification of witnesses in a prior criminal trial.
