He looked like a donkey against us at home recently. More like an audition for Splash than anything else.

Would love to be proved wrong but I feel like he'll be another in the great line of total bags of shit we've had for strikers.

I was at that game, probably his worst performance in the hoops to be fair. Our team has been so shite for so long it was certainly a low bar for Carroll to shine, and he was feeding off scraps for the entirety

As I said, I'd be the first to be delighted if he banged in 10 goals in the next month but I'm not holding my breath.

Our performance against Preston on Wednesday night was the worst I've seen in 10 years of my season ticket. Left at 75 minutes.

So he might fit right in! :-D
