I was pleasantly surprised with his performances for Reading - he looked fit, sharp, strong, skilful and committed. Sad to see him go.

He looked like a donkey against us at home recently. More like an audition for Splash than anything else.

Would love to be proved wrong but I feel like he'll be another in the great line of total bags of shit we've had for strikers.

I was at that game, probably his worst performance in the hoops to be fair. Our team has been so shite for so long it was certainly a low bar for Carroll to shine, and he was feeding off scraps for the entirety
