No real advice having done the race but I’d deffo stay in or close to Cham, as 1 it’s ace and 2 I’d find the idea of running home motivational!
We stayed with a friend who was doing a the race pre covid in this place.. they rented the place for the summer and then just had people to stay most weeks and chip in to the costs, think they are doing it again this year, now I think of it, but they are lucky that jobs allow them to do it!

Got a place in CCC (UTMB) lottery for this year having applied 4 years in a row! Very excited and great to have a goal again! Unfortunately I was so sure I wouldn't get a place I have done next to no research and am now panicking everything is going to be booked up fast... Has anyone got any useful logistics advice / prior experience?
My first question is do people tend to hire cars for supporters to get around or is the bus / lift service sufficient???
I'm also assuming it is best to stay in Chamonix and get a bus to Courmayeur for the start?
Anyone know where else I should be looking for an idiots guide to planning for this?
Just to be clear this isn't a cry for training advice, I'll worry about that later!
