Bloody hell, I need to rethink my strategies.

What are the strategies though? As Wordle doesn’t allow incorrect guesses, isn’t it merely bad luck that you cycled through incorrect options before finding the correct word on guess 5. Perhaps I’m missing something.

Surely by now everyone has their set first word?
Theoretical 1st guess chance varies from 1/5000(ish) to 1/10000(ish) on a quick review.

As moochers last letter was yellow, your suggestion and his reply revealed two letters that had to be in the word of the day. Possibly I am too far down the wordle rabbit hole :)

Here is a good question. How many five letter words exist where you could play six viable guesses under hard mode and still not get the right answer?

Props to anyone who can provide an example and show their workings (I think I have one).
