Honestly it seemed like the opposite version of "If we just put registration plates on bicycles, all the problems caused by those pesky cyclists will just disappear"

I'd wager a fair amount of twats crashing cars is due to them flooring it and not being able to control their overpowered twatmobile, but black boxes and GPS linked limiters all round will do until a robot can drive everyone about.

It would, after a period of adjustment, cut out a load of dick overtaking which I reckon probably does cause plenty of deaths.

TBH Idk.
But I guess my thinking is in terms of how fast modern cars are - especially EVs - so that you'd need to restrict acceleration as well as max speed.
Although I can believe most deaths are caused sub 50mph.
