With cars what is so odd is that there are still loads of easy measures you could take - 0-60 speed limiters, max speed limiters, etc.

What do you reckon the ratio of deaths caused by cars going over 60 to cars going under 60 is? I'd wager the vast majority occur in cars going under 60

By 0-60 limiters I'm assuming it's a limit on acceleration.

Also seems an unusual thing to target in an attempt to prevent deaths, are there that many deaths caused by a rapid acceleration of a car?

Honestly it seemed like the opposite version of "If we just put registration plates on bicycles, all the problems caused by those pesky cyclists will just disappear"
