I just got some Klipsch speakers (just the R-41m) early as my birthday present. They are not an early birthday present, I just have them here and I thought I should check they are working ;-)
I hooked one up for comparison to the cheap Gales I’m using with my turntables. I don’t know what I was expecting, but the difference was very apparent, so much so I thought the balance to the Gale was off or that it was broken. The Klipsch just sounded way, way clearer and alive vs flat and dead.
Looking forward to setting them up with a new amp (Cambridge Audio axa25 for an old Technics one).

Had a friend spinning at Brilliant Corners at the weekend on the Klipsch speakers, valve amps & Bozak mixer. First time I've seen moving coil carts on a DJ set-up. Sounded really good, surprised by how powerful it was.
