My experience with such an adapter unfortunately did not end well.
I might just keep it for photos and use the origin8 until i find something else 🥲
How many minutes of use did you get out of it?
About 6 months, and it was a singlespeed so I was pulling on the handlebars up hills more than you might with a normal bike. So you might be fine.
Won’t the classic BBB one with the modular shims work for you?
I’ve been using one on an ancient steel Stumpjumper for a year now, no problem. Very (reassuringly) heavy though...
