Assuming your kit uses Hyperglide rather than Uniglide, the splines will be the same pattern for 7-11 speed. The difference will be a 7 speed freehub will be narrower than 8-10 (road) or 8-11 (MTB).
7 speed Hyperglide hubs should be available in 130mm or 135mm spacings and your 7 speed cassette should fit on either.
Quite a similar question to @exteroceptive’s above.
I have a 3x7 deore xt/exage groupset and a 130 spaced frame. Cassette appears to be splined similarly to modern 11spd. Do I need a 7spd mtb hub with a freehub? Sheldon suggests this will be 130mm OLD. Would a 5/6/7spd road hub be 126 spaced and built for a different cassette?
