Frame n fork are done, just a bit of filing to do, then off to Aurum.
Seems Aurum may not have ral4003, Winston is calling in on Steve next week, so will have a look what he's got available.
Winston has asked decals or not decals, I'm on the side of not decal, but not completely written them off yet, downtube decals in mirror/shiny silver maybe, thoughts?

HLloyd should have my file for the Varonha decals I had made. And they could swap the color to your looking presumably...
Maybe a bit too retro for what you're doing...

@veLLo, cheers for the offer, no need to trouble yerself, Winston has sent me a couple of pics, one like yours but without the shadow, and a less blocky, slightly fancy font. Think I prefer the blocky type one, will have a think over the weekend.

Agree with you on the blocky option with your bold color choice. Punchier. In what color though?

If I go for downtube decals I was thinking maybe mirrored/chrome, can't really think what else would work.

Bike is going to be amazing! To be honest, it would be sad to ruin it with the blocky varhona decal. The typography does not equal the level of craftmanship, I dare to say without any experience in metal work but having sunk hours on end into typography.

Think that's the thing, if he had a 'signature' branding that would be cool, because that's the logo.
To be honest, probably won't bother.

Really like it, but not sure what colours would work with my chosen frame colour. I'm now waiting to see what Aurum have available, RAL 4010 (as posted by @Biggles567 ) is really growing on me, if I can't have 4003.

Only because it's the one on the Bespoked sign in the workshop so seemed somehow legit.
I really like Loic's one as well... less so the italicised purple bike one.

I was also looking at steel rim brake bikes over the weekend, inc rivendell, the nicest of which i saw was this which reminded me of your other winston bike which is still really nice and I do want one

Cheers. Rivs are some of my favourite bikes, but I think the chainstays have got just a little too long on the current crop.
Fingers crossed Steve (Aurum) can do that colour.

Been messing around with possible Varonha logos, I like the blocky one above, but probably not enough to have it on my bike.
Thought I'd have a go at combining my favourite board game and my favourite mode of transport (the bike obviously!),and came up with.......

Doesn't score particularly highly for a seven letter word though.
