It's a simple nicely made bag. Lacks technical features but if you like what you can already see it won't let you down. Big plus for me is they were super nice people to deal with.

Assuming it's possible the addition of a crank boot (although irrefutabley nifty) is considered too slight an alteration to justify my presence here. New wheels and stem. Yay!

What is the purpose of these boots other than to line the pockets of some long distance eBay sellers?

Not sure. Got it for gentle country jaunts with non-cycling folks. As such it's a fine. Trying not to spend. May get new chain and freewheel. Grips are a bit small and probably should be a different colour. Guess we'll see how long I can resist setting ebay alerts for "XC Pro".
