We’ve never actually been that far adrift and had bizarrely won more games than those above us (admittedly other teams have got plenty of games in hand) but picking up points makes a huge difference to morale.
Could do with chipping away at the goal difference as it’s horrific, but you can see huge differences in the players’ movement and decision making after going a goal ahead rather than behind.
The Premier League’s a ruthless environment…hoping we can kick on from this, it’s Palace (h) up next in the league and a genuine chance of chalking up three wins in a row with players coming back from injury too, and others playing themselves into form.
Fair play to Norwich for that performance last night. If results go their way today they might just have a slim hope of staying up. Sergeant’s first goal was sublime!
Watford are fucked. I can’t see Claudio lasting too much longer. I also can’t believe that they turned us over 3-2 at the start of the season.
