Because they're massive to store, heavy and quite expensive.
All that said I'm looking at 2nd hand ones for my shed because they are excellent.

Ah, thats since the change of ownership. Possibly for the better? Never really seen any of the new ones to judge

Hate to says it but it is.
Small vac mean I can do small stuff daily than one big vac weekly.
Biggest downside is the run time, unless you spend load.

I've never had a problem using mains connected and nothing more frustrating than weak suction. Henry4eva.

I agree Henry4Lyfe right here. I've had my Henry for nearly 10 years, its done multiple house renovations, fallen down stairs, been abducted by builders for a week and countless other exciting hoover based adventures and its still absolutely solid.
Storage/size/weight it probably the only downside.

After 5 months of pissing around, the vendor's suddenly offered to exchange next week, Monday in fact.
But only today my solicitor actually sends me the lease. There's 2 leases, the original from 1978 and the extension from 2020.
I asked my solicitor several times if this was a lease extension, they said it was just a registration, a formality. As thing's come to light I ask for clarification on the lease but never got an answer. Only now I discover it was extended by 90 years in December 2020 (from 82 years). I know the solicitor had the original lease as the checked a clause with me back in October.
I don't know what to think anymore. I don't think I trust my solicitor.

I don't know what to think anymore. I don't think I trust my solicitor.
I know this feeling. It fucking sucks balls.
Just make sure that you have a written trail everywhere and don't pay them till you have everything you need covered and clarified.

This has a lot of potential - not far from a busy road but all those houses back onto the pond which I’ve always thought looks super nice

The layout with a [cant remember the property term for where your property overhangs someone elses in this case over the garage] can cause problems from a mortgage/ insurance/ general living POV.

Flying freehold maybe?
-
• #50893
But yeah, flat roof, flood risk, flying freehold(?), entire place needs gutting... Not going to be low stress

Always liked the look of those while heading out to the lanes.

• #50895
I thought this as well but the details say it has two garages so I wonder if the garage below is also part of the same property...?
-
• #50896
I’m pretty sure both garages are belong to us

During a very pleasant after Sunday breakfast walk with friends, I spotted a large pink dildo in the pond next to that house.

Is heating through those vents you see on the walls/floor? A bit like those in some American homes?
We put one of these in a few years ago and it's not caused any trouble if that counts for anything: https://dqheating.com/collections/designer-collection-mild-steel/cove/
Ours has 7 elements and double sided. It's very heavy and I think I remember the wall plugs and bolts it shipped with being useless.
The wall it's on has all the structural integrity of our PM.
