Is rotating a 72kg lump over a boot-lip really likely to do me or the car that much damage?
There's certainly the potential to do enough harm somewhere to make van rental seem cheap. As with any risk, it's up to you to decide which side of the insurance bargain you want to be on.

I'm looking to buy a second hand duel fuel stove.
For that, you'd need to find two fuels that really don't get on, I suppose. :)

There's no need for your hypergolic comments

I ordered some kitchen appliances from a kitchen shop in October, for which I paid up front. 1 appliance arrived at the end of November. As of 2 weeks ago, despite me chasing numerous times I was told that it was not possible to be given a lead time for the outstanding items and that orders were "in a queue".
2 weeks ago I managed to track down stock of the outstanding items elsewhere and (with the agreement of the original shop) cancelled the remaining items. I still have not received a refund. I have chased numerous times and was apologetically told that the accounts dept would sort it today. They haven't.I'm getting tired of writing grumpy emails. What are my options for escalation?

Pay with credit card?

Ah no, should have stated. Bank transfer.

Depends. Do you have access to ballistic missiles?
Bank transfer is the worst case, even debit cards mostly have chargeback schemes. You're probably stuck with giving them a specific period, typically 14 days, to pay up or face court action. Small claims are pretty easy to do and you don't even need to leave the house unless they foolishly insist on actually going to a hearing to argue the matter. I would caution that getting a judgement is only the start of the matter if they really do want to be dicks.

Does anyone know where this can be bought? E10/e11/E17/e20/e7 ideally
Velho Barreiro Gold Cachaça
So far Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons have given us faint hope but not fulfilment. Don't fancy a fiver on delivery

Try Gerry's Off Licence in Old Compton Street I know that it isn't amongst your favourite postcodes, but they do seem to stock just about everything.

So I parked my bike up outside co op. Came back to a big lorry on the pavement and my handlebars twisted right round. I went into the shop and let the delivery driver know that he’s damaged my bike parking (on the fukn pavement!!). He came out and had a look, said sorry etc and I got the number for the shop to call them.
I haven’t had a look at any permanent damage but what’s the best course of action?
It’s actually mad, giant lorry right in busy camberwell on the pavement. And I only stopped for 5mins.

What an asshole, is it legal out there to park where he is for a delivery?
-
• #111464
Well I don’t know about ‘legal’ or not, I asked him why he was on the pavement and he said he couldn’t park in the usual red deliveries box on the road because there was a car parked there. To my knowledge motor vehicles should stay the hell off the pavement with few exceptions.

Had to bleedin’ walk home, luckily it wasn’t far. Mudguard now rubbing heavily at the front too.

Yep, every fucking time, pretty much always some private hire cunt. That's no an excuse for driving on the pavement, but the alternative is to let that one act of cuntishness fuck the supply chain even more. Imagine the time it takes to do a "go around" in that truck on those roads, with no guarantee that the cunt won't still be there.

Yeah I do get that.
What really fucked me off was his colleague came from inside the shop and said he didn’t touch it. The driver already knows he fucked up and apologised. As if I rode there like that? Or it magically refuckulated itself while I was buying groceries from their shop.

Is my Landlord allowed to start bringing more furniture to my house?

Pavement parking in London is generally illegal. There are exceptions for deliveries although local signage might override that exception so it isn't straightforward.

• #111470
Also most delivery drivers for the companies (not contractors) don't give a fuck because their employer will just pay the fine and put it down as a a business cost.

I figured this might be the way to go. I’ve given them the 14 day ultimatum.
-
• #111472
Er no not really.
Only circumstances they might be able to would be if the stuff they were adding was on the inventory when you moved in.

I seem to be able to connect to next door’s TV by bluetooth. Does that mean I can stream video of myself masturbating on their 65” screen? Can I just turn their TV on at random times and play shit music through it?

Seeing something as an available device is not the same as being able to connect to it. Have you tried to pair to it?
You're scaring the horses? Not the person that's wedged their crevice onto an animal that's been forced to carry them around?
