I have an identical-era TCR2 owned since new (£1k, 2006) which I still use as my main road bike. I continue to entertain dreams of finding the ISP version in my size (L, bb–rails distance tbc...), as it's what I really wanted at the time. I've got the period Ksyrium ESs in a bag somewhere still too.
If it makes you feel any better, the 27.2 has a smoother ride than the ISP.
And the ISP really needs an integrated bar/stem to fully pop, but I'm married to the Aeronova shape, and the only integrated Aeronova is a knock-off so nasty it's almost basically junk - I know, I bought one :(
