Do not iron. Turn up if you like the look or if they are too long. I always rinse new jeans (if unsanforized) to remove any potential shrinkage. If sanforized, I'll still rinse them, just to make them softer and remove any factory starch and thus they'll be comfier.

Out of interest where do your jeans hem sit height wise? And what would you consider an ok turn up size (before I think about getting the jeans shortened)

I have some Edwin rainbow selvedge jeans.
I guess the done thing is to turn them up to show the rainbow?
Should I iron this or just loosely turn up?
Also, they are black jeans, should I rinse them before.wearing to minimise the color rubbing onto other fabrics?
