Just ordered one of these, nice one.👍🏼
After my girlfriend lost one of my bottles at work and filled the other with some mystery cleaning chemical and put it under the sink. 😅 -

Great stuff! Enjoy it and keep it safe!

Managed to get it off with nail polish remover and quite a bit of abrasive pad, maybe not the best approach because the surface is quite scuffed now. Might try to think of something else to brush nail polish back onto it.

Anyone seen any nice Spesh Purist bottles anywhere recently? My Seabass ones are getting a bit worn looking.

Portland Design Works have some but not sure what the international shipping costs are.

Depends what you like, freshtripe stock sim works bottles, using purists.

I have looked into those, unfortunately they only fit securely on Crust frames :(

I think you'll find they also fit nice and securely on one's custom built, chubby tyred Varonha (other custom brands are available, so I believe).

RIP another Fly 550. Bounced out my bag pocket and a Feltham/Ashford cunt who saw what happened swerved to drive over it like last time. Tempted to fill the next one with spikes.

No bottle cage?
Unrelated: I just tried Decathlon cheapest bottle. You can't easily squeeze it, almost unsqueezable.

Any recommendations for bidons with caps/dust covers? So much crap on my mine today after a ride though lanes, leaves and mud that I didn't dare take a sip (took the lid off instead). A 2 min Google suggests Nukeproof?.

Camelbak Podium Dirt is an option, kind of tiny half/assed cap though it does kind of work.

Elite Fly MTB have a cap over the valve.

Thanks. I'll have a look at those.

I'm after a stainless steel bidon/water bottle, apart from Elite, are there others to consider (or that will fit in a standard bottle cage)?

I'm not at home to check but I think the Lezyne classic does. And it's incredibly well insulated.

There's Coloral as well

I use a Klean Kanteen sport. It's been good to me. Not insulated tho and don't get the painted ones.
