  • That's worked for me, thanks

  • brilliant seems to have worked for me to. Thanks!

    In other news, went for a kind of fixed training ride into Essex this morning-40 odd miles. This confirmed some things for me, including;
    A. As a 41 year old art technician who probably eats to many biscuits, It's 50/50 whether I'll actually be able to make it around the full HDiJ course at the moment, and if I am to try, it's going to take at least 3 bananas, a half way coffee and probably some of those aforementioned biscuits to get me round.
    B. If we're in smaller groups due to numbers, I'm going to be better off in one of the slower groups.
    C. My Garmin is a dickhead who spend entire rides trying to get me to do perpetual u-turns as it looses it's sense of direction,
    D.Epping New Road's surface is so bad, you may as well be riding on gravel.
    E. Essex around Waltham Abbey is truly the arsehole of the universe, consisting as it does of narrow country lanes, swathed in a treacly concretey mud, festooned with great piles of fly-tipped rubbish lining the lanes, all clogged-up with HGV's making their way to the giant salad-factory's, audi's driven (as all audis are) by close-passing flash-bastard boy-racer wankers, and the ubiquitous Chelsea tractors and 'Sport's Utility Vehicles' bought by the type of person who imagines this is what they need for their edge of London, not-quite the countryside existence.
    Still good to get out, hope I haven't exhausted myself for Saturday now.
