Auto park on the Volvo is nifty and does work 95% of the time. But my criticism would be that it does this relative to other cars rather than relative to the kerb... if during the process it touches the kerb (the 5% of times) it will hand control back to you, probably in a tighter situation then you would've put yourself in... mostly it's easier just to park the car yourself if you're already very comfortable with doing so.
Was helpful when the car was new and I hadn't yet got to grips with the dimensions of it.
