It's a difficult one though isn't it; CEO's are not "bosses" in the typical sense, they work for the shareholders and their job is to protect & increase shareholder wealth. And given his payout will be based on shares, it could be argued he's done his job very well.
The culture there sounds horrendous & is completely inappropriate; better human beings would not foster that kind of behavior & many would argue that having healthier business culture can bring better returns on investments but that's not going to stop all the people that are about to get their pockets lined from rubbing their hands together in glee.

yeah, not a fan. Rewarded for being a shit boss, rewarding others who look and sound like you, and are also shit bosses, and those who are doing the hard yards get fucked over.
