• 48/31. typo. 11/28 at the rear.

  • Any interest in my 09? Full bike. 53cm. DM for details. I have asked Caren for a new bike - and looks like I'll have to sell this first to afford it. Might have to sell my G.O.A.T frameset as well - medium.

  • That lasted long :) What are you getting?

  • have had it nearly 2.5 years :) I wanna Hartley - have wanted one for yonks. started the custom deep dive 5/6 years ago but had to put it on hold.

  • Interested in the GOAT. will PM

  • Also potentially intrigued by the GOAT. Talk to me... ;)

  • I hope couplers, would be good for my conscience!

  • The bike you wont sell me is the dream and i'll keep nagging you till you do ;)

  • I will seduce you with sweet Jpegs via text.

  • I definitely get that, a Hartley will be lovely. My dream is a custom Stelbel... one day

  • ISEN 001 on its 3rd groupset. Set up now with Force / X01 mullet for a touring trip to Ireland next month. Will probably go back to Force 22 when we return, as the mullet is borrowed from the gravel bike. Excuse the messy background, the shed wasn't setup for a photoshoot.

  • I spy a fresh new website

    https://isenworkshop.com/

  • Hadn't realised that the all road frameset was+3000 GBP...

  • I've got a r3 (race ready road) on order which will have a chromovelato paint job, thru axles and a t47 bb. So there's something exciting incoming, I just need to procure a groupset. I've gone for mechanical as it's what I've already got and I do keep teasing with running campagnolo 12 speed.

  • You've just reminded me I don't think I posted the stem you paid me for to Isen. If your frames not painted yet, I'll get it out this week. Terribly sorry

  • I should of chased that, dont worry though as they haven't started building my frame yet

  • No totally my bad. I'll let you know when it's gone

  • Had a great time there a couple of years ago, what's the plan?

Edit: Whoops, only 5 months late :(

  • Thought I’d whet your appetite with my R3…..one of the first I believe ;-)
Going to pimp the wheels this spring and rebuild into a carbon disc machine

  • I've had that photo saved on my phone for 6 months now and look at it when I'm imaging the r3 :) it's a lovely bike. I've been thinking about getting a similar rim, the 55mm deep Falcon Pro or very different but the Hunt Aerodynamicist 54mm

  • Is that paint effect over a stainless tube set or a chrome paint?

  • @Norfolkbound from talking to @Dick and others I don’t think you can go wrong with lightbicyle rims. I’ve gone ar35 (flyweight) ar45 (standard) ones. I took advantage of a 15% off coupon. Will reuse the ck hubs too, so I can’t wait to get on them.

  • @BareNecessities it’s not stainless. Columbus tubing I believe

  • Yeah, what @Bonj0ur said - I’ve had about 6 pairs of LB wheel / rims I’ve had built in to wheels and they’ve been consistently lighter, stiffer, stronger and not to mention a light year ahead in quality compared to the OTP stuff like enve, zipp, etc, for about a quarter of the price if we’re talking about the former.

Really is no point paying £4K for stuff that is sub standard. I honestly can’t believe people still do it just for the branded stickers.

Also no point in using Hunt as they’re just adding on their profit margin to do exactly the same.

Find a nice set of hubs, buy rims from LB, get @broken_777 to build.

Alternatively you can get full custom builds from LB.
