Had an offer accepted on a house. Somewhat in shock. Now looking forward to all the ways it can fall through.

I would think so - where exactly are you? The place we have offered on is next to Woodford Wells sports grounds.

Easy to drop the kids off at Bancrofts then

Careful - I donβt want to join the golf club (but yeah).

All four of my cousins went to Bancrofts.
I donβt think any of them make more than Β£40k a year.

People who go to private school don't all go in to the private sector though right? Making under 40k could still mean you're working hard as a nurse or teacher whilst being criminally underpaid..

One is a teacher so fair point. The others are in the private sector.
Theyβre all pretty happy individuals though so π€·πΌββοΈ

I work in recruiting teachers so that's why I bit π , we need more teachers, maybe we'd get some who stay in the profession a bit longer if they could afford to live near where they work.
It'd be nice for me too to be fair (typing from Lincoln π€£).
