Beats me. WoS salesperson I spoke to last week reckoned the empty display cabinets were down to people buying what they were told to, in order to gain access to a sports model. Secondary market prices though - I can only assume it's people (China?) having decided that any Rolex is an investment. So glad I got mine when I did, I wouldn't want to get involved in the current circus.

I love the Sinn 556, anyone know where in London stocks them to try on for size?
-
• #60605
They have no London retailers at all, unless you count Chronext (who just offer a pickup service). When @inchpincher and I met the Sinn folks at the WatchPro salon thing they were lamenting their UK stockist situation and practically begged us to lobby retailers to stock them.

Thanks! Seems like they're pretty hard to get in the UK like Regal said, I tried mine on in Germany. They have a partner overview on their website that might be of use to you, there are a couple of places around.

That model (turquoise dial OP) is specifically experiencing the Tiffany Nautilus hype effect - that's an outlier.

So nice. My next watch for sure, had it in the sights for a while now.

Skyrocketed= maintained the same trajectory as the previous 4 or so years?

It’s a fucking conspiracy.
And I’m sick of having the “list” conversation. Part of the reason am leaving my current employer, the way the brands are . -

I nearly picked up an OP for ~ 2k while in Japan in 2014 but decided I could probably find one with better provenance over here for the same. I was wrong.

I hope the grey dealers who are stockpiling get burned. (instagram sellers with 40 subs)

You and me both.

However whilst there is an idiot prepared to pay well over list for a watch that barely justifies its rrp then there will be a chancer to sell it to them.

Hi everybody. Would anyone know where to get an extra couple of links for a Constellation bracelet?

Try Swiss time services. Often Omega parts are available NOS for ages . I bought a brand new bracelet for a 1971 speedmaster mk2 a couple of years ago.

• #60622
Thanks a lot cuz Omega are charging mad cash for that

• #60623
Many thanks. Surely that fantastic Rolex will be going sooner rather than later!

I think it will get worse before it gets better because of the property recession in China, which is causing lots of Chinese to pile into watches. I linked to this article upthread https://www.ft.com/content/a9a34f94-9a49-4938-ae9e-ec4e6d2f4838 I can paste the whole thing for those who don't use the iamadam extension for bypassing paywalls
