Sell and buy a Tern GSD or R&M Load 60.
-
• #8636
Yeah, thought the same, especially when you can buy an Omnium mini frame set for £900 and the WiFi version for £1000. Completes for £1200.

Think they’re a little more expensive than that (especially complete, price is closer to 2k) but yes I think still more bang for buck than just getting a fork! Suits some people though and nice to have all the options out there.
Worth mentioning these are obviously much smaller production runs.. so I don’t think the cost is crazy

Correct

I knew I could count on you

If this breaks rules I can take it down no problem but I thought I’d mention we have a sale on at the moment including some Omnium Mini Classic Frames and Completes

I think it's good for us if you post stuff like this.

Where did you get this done in the end?
I'm thinking about getting some custom shipping crates built and this looks like a nice option. -

I used Swordfish works in Hackney. They CNC'd and provided the materials for £168.
We've spent the last week treating it with an epoxy sealant and are now just doing the final coat of gloss black paint, will be installing on Saturday.

I want that but an adult seat. I sometimes carry the Mrs about if I'm feeling nice

Has anyone got a clever solution for transporting and securing an extra battery on an Urban Arrow? As in, the 2 you can attach as standard plus an extra emergency backup.

Edit-
Maybe if you could install a secure lock box or something somewhere on the bike? Haven’t seen any solutions in practice on the UA XL
-
• #8648
Yeah that might be the simplest thing! We've got these custom racks for carrying bikes, could bolt an ammo box with some padding under there or something.

Ah you're from Velo Domestique! I have just been on your website as you are the only place I've found with an omnium mini max in stock in medium... Am tempted (although just trying to work out if I can justify it).
Would you be able to get / do you keep in stock the mini max child seat mounts? Omnium don't seem willing to post to me in UK direct (thanks brexit)

Hey Andy,
I am yeah, we have stock of most Omnium options at the moment in some colour, including completes. We don’t have any of the new Mini-Max kids seat brackets in stock as they only came out after our latest stock had been dispatched. Next order though we will be getting a couple in as they are pretty awesome (the cargo ones we’ve used are anyway).
If you have any questions or want to come test ride one just let me know
I forget now, but who was the guy on here who works for Omnium? 🤔
