the scottish tories have quite an interesting double game going on. for the last several years they have been doing much better in scotland than in all the previous decades but they know that all the eton tories are super unpopular in scotland so they are quite happy to have very strong digs at them. i always assumed that they had some sort of approval from westminster for it.
it's quite a sneaky way of making it more acceptable to vote tory in scotland.

I think the only reason its "acceptable" to vote Tory in Scotland is to protest against independence...and being from the border lands which is the same thing.
Anyway, happy to have the Tories down south doing their thing :)

Next step will be to formally split from the main party. They’d need a new name, of course. My suggestion would be ‘Conservative & Unionist New Tories of Scotland’.
