  • It's the radial polishing that divides opinion. The original radial polish is really beautiful. Subsequent repolishing does detract from the looks in some ways but yours looks like it might benefit from it.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. It’s hard to find an example that still has that beautiful brushing on the case, most of them are either scratched to fu*k or overpolished. They still have the machines to do it at Omega, so it can be done, I’ll report back once it’s back.

    Also, this guy just refinished one and I think it looks just as good as the original. So, it can be done.

  • I have the racing dial version with original but vg+ condition surround. It's good enough not to upset my enjoyment of the watch but when I look in detail it's pretty well worn.

    The radial polish is a big part of the attraction of the model to me though.
