Indeed. There's a 'shop soiled' 52cm with the warranty still intact for 3.5k available with a quick Google. This just looks like trying to get away with making back everything they spent on frame + repair
The mint condition S-Works SL6 from Dick was ~1600 with posh extra seatposts, axles, other trimmings.
On the up side, 'quietly hoping it sits in our warehouse for 18months and I can buy it' is a decent shout at this price.
