  • There was an argument from his lawyers that she was living in a million-dollar property in Perth, Australia, which I didn't really understand. Depending on whether it's US or Oz dollars, it's c.£500 or £750k. That's obviously not to be sneezed at, but it doesn't mean she's living the life of the ultra-rich already. I'd have thought that would be an opportunity for them - an offer in the millions would be tempting for most in that position - if, indeed, she has any inclination to settle.

  • Also the notion that because she's not totally destitute being trafficked doesn't matter, "look it didn't do her any harm, what's the big deal?".

    Horrific people.

  • Spot on. People who succeed in spite of horrible experiences should be applauded, not sneered at.
