No worries! I'd love one but they're a bit on the spenny side. The project I have planned is going to be a flat bar commuter that I don't mind leaving locked up for a little while.

Fairlight also has Outlet section on their website.

Still spendy for an outside parked commuter though. -

My brother steel gravel fork finally arrived, and excitedly put on all the touring bits. Seems pretty well finished, and certainly not many other 12mm steel fork options

Nice fork.
Is your klamper arm and pad adjuster limited edition ? Never saw them to sell. -
• #406
No idea, but I paid a stupid amount for them on ebay to get them used from the US, so would be nice if they were unique.

Yeah that's still out of my price range unfortunately! Would love a Fairlight one day but it's not happening any time soon.

Anyone with a big bro recommend some fork bags/racks?
I like the ortlieb fork bag system but it looks a bit wide and I'm a bit wary because the big bro mounts are tilted back on the fork.

Have you tried them? Look nice but pricey.

Gimme a shout if you'd like me to measure my planetx ones

I’ve used Blackburn outpost on mine with 4l bags and it worked well. To be honest you could probs go up to 10l at a push. Here’s an unhelpful pic of a downtube one (can’t find a fork one).

Here are Blackburn Cages with restrap bags stuffed to the max. The restrap bags are quite solid and don’t really stretch. Shouldn’t be a problem with tilted fork mounts. You can always pack less and strap them down.

Does anyone have some advice on size for a Kepler?
As a 1.86 have tried a 60cm recently, which seemed ok but definitely on the larger end.
Know it comes down to a lot of personal geometry and build but was just wondering if their geometry was slightly larger than other frames? -
• #417
Anecdotally, I ride a 60cm at 197cm with a relatively stubby stem - I think 100mm.
The 58cm is probably worth considering I'd say.
-

I'm 180 and have a 56, keep meaning to get a slightly shorter stem than the 100mm I've got, 54 with longer stuff would probably be OK for me too but long stems are shit. They've got a very flat toptube so I've got very little seatpost showing as is.

Yes, they are longer and lower than other frames. Surly are also similar.

New Mehteh looks pretty good. Though I'm not a huge fan of the paint.

Love the graphics on this one, I'm guessing this is the same bike that over took me on round one of summer CX at HHV? Very nice bike!
