• Can you feel vibrations at any time other than the spin cycle? I was amazed at how quiet the miele is, honestly apart from the spin cycle at the end you don't know it's even on. But yeah I didn't think about it at all tbh and wouldn't have minded a solution. I did find that miele recommended screwing a plywood base to the joists and putting the machine on that to reduce vibrations.

I'm very rarely going to be in the bedroom when the machine is on and although my wife has her office in the loft bedroom now she says it doesn't bother her.

  • no, it's fairly silent apart from the spin cycle - it's an LG thinQ with all the smart stuff built in - connects up to the TV so you can see how long it's got left and sends you a text when it's finished etc. all very high tech! :D

when it's on 1400 spin it's quite vibratey, but we've been using it on 1200 and it's not too bad.

should have secured the flooring down but i didn't even think about it at the time.
    never mind, eh?

  • Ha, mine has a fairly ropey app but tv sync is some next level tech I can get on board with 😂

There does seem to be quite a jump from 1200 to 1400 on mine as well.

My wife has taken a philosophical view on all of our cock ups that they're mistakes we won't repeat on our next (and hopefully final) house.
