I love a fork bodge. Are those rear tubes for the rack?

Thanks it has worked out really well, a real stroke of luck. Yes it's going to have a large rear pannier rack over the wheel.

Sweet. You're right the dropout looks a bit vulnerable. Is there any way the rack supports could attach to the chain stays / seat stays instead?
