Readers wife here.
Very golf club, but I have a morning bike (take son to school then go to the allotment to kiss the chickens - involves gravel and mud), an afternoon bike (to collect boy from school, belt drive fixie) and a daytime bike (Bullitt) for everything else.
Anyway, my submission for gravel. Had to convert the front to disc. No amount of fettling could prevent massive judder from the original mini Vs. Even with salmons the rear brake is still just for decoration (had an ex GB Olympic mechanic try to set the Vs up after I admitted failure - even he failed to get decent braking).
I do love the frame feel and handling. It is a very footsure bike.
Sure I’m going to get flamed for something, but hey ho.
