    The difference is between "important" and "good". It's pretty much a feature rather than a bug that good politicians are rarely important and important politicians are rarely good. From a classical liberal perspective, one might say that the less important politicians are, the better it is for everybody.

    Obviously Mill's. The neo-cons who pretend to be classical liberals show themselves up by supporting the idea of strong-man leaders.
