    There are ways to enact political change. Enacting political change doesn’t necessarily make you a politician. Using violence to achieve your goals kinda discounts your politician status. It’s like turning up to a ping pong match with a pistol and threatening your opponent. You may have won the game but no one will call you a great ping pong player.

    The difference is between "important" and "good". It's pretty much a feature rather than a bug that good politicians are rarely important and important politicians are rarely good. From a classical liberal perspective, one might say that the less important politicians are, the better it is for everybody.
